UNEMPLOYMENT

Poverty and unemployment often go hand in hand. As unemployment rates rapidly rise in Costa Rica, the poorest communities are those hit the hardest. Skills development can reduce unemployment and hardship, improve standards of living, and help to give people hope and a future.

From learning to sew to gaining business skills, we equip those who live in poor Costa Rican neighborhoods with the skills they need to earn a wage, start their own business, and change their lives. Our microloan business gives eager entrepreneurs the resources that they need to get off of the ground and grow.
